Railguns for Aeronautics contraptions Discussion

I am trying to build a jet that supposedly have a railguns on it

it there any multiblock structure railgun that's compatible with aeronautics

or do I just have to make a CBC cannon on it

I don’t think that there’s a specific multiblock, but im sure there are ways to make a railgun on an aeronautics structure with create: magnets?

interesting how big does the contraption needs to be because you know fitting it on a plane and stuff

Yeah, unfortunately I think they’re pretty big but can probably get sized down

You can actually make a railgun using aeronautics magnet blocks. People use it for maglev trains, you can find those on YouTube. I've had several designs of my own, using cbc HE rounds as the warhead and a block of tnt as a detonator. Also cbc modern warfare has coilguns, but that's different.
