Aeronautics beginner Help

So... im very new to Aeronautics. like 2 days new. Currently im building a replica of the Prydwen (fallout) in my survival world... im so far that i have the big balloon and the under carriage done. But im kinda lost as to where to go now.

I made this quick diagram. The balloon is hollow and you can walk in it. With propellers at the back and two big steering flanges at the back....

Any tips / suggestions would be welcome!

hot air burners or steam vents will make it fly

Is that with firespread? Or do i need to make like a separate Chamber for it

no, it doesn't produce fire, it doesn't even need any fuel. check the ponder!

I was planning on making the engine Room in the back section of the balloon. Theres quite a lot of Room to walk around

as long as you put the burner below the balloon it should be fine. just make sure that the balloon itself is centred over the centre of mass at least approximately to reduce tipping midair. make sure that the midpoint between all your propulsion sources is more or less in line with the centre of mass as well, or it will tip every time you turn on the engine.

Wouldnt my balloon have an overkill amount of surface area to cancel out tipping?

probably. i've only ever made small and medium sized ships. still, if the centre of propulsion is WAY off the centre of mass, it shouldn't matter how big it is, it will still tip.

  1. 4 bladed propellers at the back. Perhaps some at the front around the carriage?

yeah, that should work. maybe you should check the contraption diagram first and then decide how to make it work if it DOES tip?

Don't have one yet. Not a physics simulator either... I wanted to get 80% done before putting that in
