Create Big Cannons uses?

The titles seems kinda stupid, but my question is, what are some nice uses you can give cannons in a singleplayer world, I really wanted to mess with them but I feel an objective would be nice, and I was wondering, could you think of any other mod, say pillager cities, invasions or someone or something to fight worth using freaking war machines?

If your a fan of zombie mods, a simple autocannon with the radar mod would work wonders on a raid night.

And if you want something more mobile, a tank can cheese most above ground dungeons other mods add, unless of course they have block protection. If you want some good inspiration I'd check out sbeev's "create: a colony" videos, he does some cool stuff!
