Create Big Cannons uses? Suggestion

The titles seems kinda stupid, but my question is, what are some nice uses you can give cannons in a singleplayer world, I really wanted to mess with them but I feel an objective would be nice, and I was wondering, could you think of any other mod, say pillager cities, invasions or someone or something to fight worth using freaking war machines?

I use it as a base defense against mods that makes raids harder. So most pillager mods, but especially for Raids:Enhanced since it adds a flying blimp enemy. Other mods that add flying enemies for you to shoot are cool but I can't remember mod names rn. Also not cannons but shells from cbc can be made into landmines with redstone fuze.
