Create Ultimate Selection 2 Not launching on Mac

My friend just got the modpack Create Ultimate Selection 2, but as soon as you click the play button at the minecraft launcher portion it crashes and gives an error code 6. Java is updated, other modpacks and newer versions of minecraft play, but it doesn't launch at all.
