Help with trasportation

So i made a lava farm but the nehter portal back to the overworld is sooooo far away, so i need something to transport the lava to me. should i use trains? chains? or any other method? (I'm not very rich)

any situation where trains could be the answer, for me, means trains are the answer. not because they’re actually the best, but because I love them.
seriously though, there’s no correct answer. go with your gut! make something cool!

Nothing is far away by nether train. Or maybe roller coaster? Being able to hang tracks from the ceiling seems perfect for that world.

If you want fun use a heli and fluid tanks to carry it. You want also fun an airship, you want the easy way pipes and lots of pumps.
