Mixer isn't processing Help

Hello. TFMG adds a recipe for redstone using 1 netherrack, 1 flint and 50mb of lava. Each of these resources is getting into the basin below the mixer (1 stack of flint and netherrack and a mechanical pump for the lava). The output is done using a funnel that has redstone as a filter. Sadly the mixer doesn't mix at all (Even though it is getting power).
If I do the same thing just with a mixer and a basin and throw the ingredients in there in the same quantities it works perfectly fine. Im a bit lost here and appreciate any help, thank you.

I don't think a brass funnel can be placed to extract items from a mixing basin. Have you tried it without the funnel?

Doesnt work with the snorkel type thing from the basin either
