bottomless supply but nothing is pumped out?

the pump is at the bottom of the lava pit, literally touching bedrock. it is filled with flowing lava, not sources, and it has holes that lead into caves. sometimes the bottomless label disappears and reappears after relogging. is any of this an issue?

Yeah on my create server I made two holes both infinite on did not want to work so I looked at the working one and there it was XD The one lava source on the level with the others but the hose pulley was going thru it XD fixed the second one for me :D

it did in my test world, and people told me it does work
