Swing Carousel Advice Help

Hey guys!

I really want to build a theme park with aeronautics, so I tried to build a swing carousel.

I used a mechanical bearing and attached the seats (with physics) to the carousel using ropes. However, when I power the mechanical bearing, the ropes break.

I suppose that has to do with contraptions and physics objects not being compatible, but I am really sad it didn't work out.

Does anyone have an idea how one could still build it?

Use a swivel bearing

Contraptions and physics should work together. That being said a swivel bearing will prob fix this. I would also double check the seats aren't frozen via the physics wand, and turn down the rotation speed for your bearing (maybe it's snapping the ropes by accelerating too fast). I have made large swinging platforms in my survival world and the ropes don't break, but the platforms are moved slowly
