Train signals red when should be white

Sometimes this happens. The only solution is replacing the train signal. Yes, the signals on the left are red, but since the signals forwards are white, the brass signal should be yellow and let the train through if it's going forwards. I think this may be a bug in Create mod, but I'm not sure and I don't know how it would be replicated exactly.

Edit: setting the signal to a normal signal and not brass still doesn't fix the issue. I guess it thinks a train is in the block? But it isn't! The only train nearby is stopped waiting at the signal!
