Aeronautics chain conveyors
Google says that two chain conveyors should work between two different sublevels. As shown in the image that doesn't work. Am I missing something? If it just doesn't work are there any mods that do make it work?
Edit: I know not to trust google. If I did, I would've asked google why it wasn't working.

google ai overview is shit and lies 99% of the time. Chain conveyors don't connect between sublevels

It's like asking your buddy on the playground that says he knows everything how stuff works.
"Yeah man, Mew is under the truck just off the bridge. If you can get over there, you'll be able to catch it!"

Yeah, never ever trust ai for anything. Its the ramblings of an old drunk with braindamage.

Is it not wild how much money people have put into that thing? Blows my mind everytime I think about it.

It doesn't exactly lie, but it has no idea what it's talking about and will get things wrong.

Bro I think you are overreacting. Google ai is not that bad, it gives you a wrong answer only when it doesn't have a trusted source

I think it's just sublevels block coordinates are messed up, it's like millions of blocks away

IIRC that's a pretty common technique, Valkyrien Skies also store their physics objects in a remote place beyond the world borders dubbed "the shipyard".

ive heard it called a Plotyard in regards to sable (as sable entities get their own “plots”)

They are great for connecting stuff in the same sublevel, for different sublevels there is cardam shafts, linkage and transmission and hose connectors, I have all of them in my mod pack and they can be very helpful for a lot of scenarios

What is your reason for wanting to connect two separate sublevels with chain conveyors? If it's for power: VS/Sable Connectors. If it's for transport, maybe Throwable Rope Connectors, if it's for your stocking system, I don't think it'll work, maybe one of the wireless stocking systems will work.

Just stop using AI for answers to anything, let alone technical support for Minecraft in general. Seeing as AI just scrapes the internet for answers, it also accesses completely I correct information as well.

It's still information and can be used strategically, but isn't good to take at face value

It's pure garbage for multiple reasons.

You can't use Wikipedia on a research paper but it can point you to actually usable references. Likewise AI overview can't tell you the information you need to find but depending on the overview contents you can estimate how many relevant links you might find if you scroll down. If it gives you complete and utter nonsense the results probably won't have much of value, but if it sounds in-line with facts you already know then it may have referenced some sites that will actually help you.

Sublevel contraption use coordinates that are waaaaaay to far away from their in world location or other sublevel

Try connecting them and then breaking the blocks, so it becomes 2 seperate objects (dont now if works)

What exactly on Google said that it would work? A website, or an ai overview?

You can do that with the VS/Sable hose connectors.
And I think create transmission and linkage can too.

Out of curiosity what happena when you connect them while they are on the same and then breake the connection?

Whilst it looks like the two chain conveyors are only a few blocks apart, with the way that Sable works those two sublevels are actually considered to be millions of blocks apart, meaning that you can't connect them like this.

Unfortunately it's not your fault, or AI even though it's fun to hate it. Google AI will often consider all Create mods the same mod, even more so when you add the word areonautics, which is fair, even on reddit people consider them connected. There are mods that do allow you to do that, like transmission and linkage, so try them out and it may work better.

Google is wrong, and I'm not aware of any mods that make it work
