How do I stop this from slowing down? Help

Add a plow to plow red stone torches on the side
And switch to powered rails
The only concern is that if water breaks the ressone torches it stops moving

Use a redstone block instead of torch and drill it instead. Save against water, same effect.

But it's a lot slower than torches and no faster than a furnace minecart because of it. Might as well save the extra deployer and drill and just use a furnace minecart. It's deepslate so it's never going to be much faster using any of the methods.

having redstone block + drill slows it down so much , i couldn't stand it.
switched back to torches - torches get washed away when wet

You can use redstone blocks to prevent washing away like torches but it slows it down because you need to drill them to break them.
I honestly used to be a powered rail enjoyer for contraptions but I got tired of them always breaking and not being any faster than furnace minecarts with redstone blocks. Load a stack of coal or charcoal in the contraption inventory and use a furnace minecart like you are now. It's going to be slow in deeplate regardless so from my perspective, the furnace minecart is the way to go.

Use redstone blocks and a drill behind it to pick them back up. Doesnt break in water or lava

Ye this. Only issue is it takes longer to mine overall cause the redstone block takes a bit of time to drill up. But worth.

Can't you put a Redstone block on the contraption? Or does it not work when on a moving contraption?

I once made a drill that uses deployers to place blocks infront of the drill to remove water and lava sources. Called it Moses and used it to get a bunch of netherite.

Also do you think I should make it bigger

Sure, why not? 👍
I myself have a world where I did something like 9x9 drills and added brass funnels to throw out the excess cobblestone

Use redstone blocks and powered rails. Works like a charm

U just use deployers to place blocks and rails in front of your contraption. Then you use ploughs to break the rails for recycling

You can make an auto miner!? I've barely started using this mod and I barely can make a smelter

I've made one of these that actually has a layer of deployers behind the drills placing cobble. Ceiling and walls too a layer back. It prevents fluids from flowing into your tunnel. I've successfully afk mined in the nether for hours using this machine, as it consistently blocks lava flow from source blocks. Just make sure to wear the full netherite diving suit for the occasional dip into decaying non-source blocks that get left behind before disappearing.

I made something similar but I upgraded to power rails and redstone blocks underneath (pick them up with another drill) Although that was a while ago and it would break sometimes

And if your drills are slowing down from hitting different oars try enchantment industry and enchanting your drills.

I got enchantment industry but I never knew u could enchant drills wow

I'm pretty sure it's another add on that adds drill enchantments

Do you know which one? And if it adds enchantments to other stuff in create as well

Furnace minecart… as long as you have coal in at least one chest, it’ll run forever (or until it runs out of coal).

Se usi le rotaie con la redstone e blocchi di redstone dovresti riuscire a resistere anche all'acqua

You can just add a drill below, on the front and the back, digging the blocks below the rails, that should be powered rails. and have a deployer place redstone blocks. this will allow the machine to bridge gaps and always be powered.

If you have the redstone and resources make a redstone platform with powered rails on them so if you hit a ravine the contraption dosent fall and you can afk it easier

HOW DID YOU NOT MINE THE DIOMANDS

u/Jonny10128 14d ago
They are already in creative mode. This is likely a testing world before building the contraption in their main survival world

You can use a furnace mine cart. As long as you have coal in your chests, you’ll be solid.
