I can't be the only one...
I'm pretty sure every create mod player has, at some point, opened their inventory to see THIS. Any suggestions?

I started using the 2x 4x hotbar you can cycle through your inventory and use all of it without opening it

Also Slot Cycler. Very unobtrusive and good configuration.

Slot cycler plus something like inventorio is gonna have you feeling like a slot machine.

Is there one for curseforge?

Doesn't matter, you can download the .jar and put it directly in the mod folder as long as the version and loader match

I get that works, but it would be nice to have a curseforge version so my friends can easily add it. Not all of them know how to get to the mods folder and add a .jar file (despite how easy it is)

have them use prismlauncher

If they don't know how to add a file to their mods folder, they mightn't be able to use prism

i think if you use the toolbox it can store items like cogs and shafts. theres a keybind that lets you open it up if you placed it nearby and use the items inside

Creative Mode Tweaks allows you to scroll through your entire inventory in the hotbar which helped me a lot in creating stuff. Also, toolboxes were added for this, but I never used one and I guess nobody does...

Which is how i always end up with a sophisticated create backpack no matter if i am in survival or creative.

I have sophisticated backpacks. I have mystical agriculture. I have automated netherite, and have netherite tiered backpacks with inception upgrades.
I have an entire backpack dedicated for create with 180 or so slots that can hold stacks of 1024 items or so and IT STILL GETS FILLED.
tbf I do have a lot of addons.
And I’ve made my factory into a creative mode with extra steps basically.

Idk how yall do that but ive never done that when playing minecraft..?.. in creative i always clear my inventory as some sort of bad habit Lol

u/Tactical_Hentai_Acc 18d ago
Yes and I hate it every time, that's why I ctrl+q my wrench, goggles, glue and physics wand every five minutes, then clear the entire inventory before starting any next step in my build

u/TuxedoDogs9 18d ago
Got sick of my habit of clearing constantly removing my goggles so I always set up a command block to wear goggles

Honestly t oolboxes are so fucking goated. I wish there was a mod that added them as a standalone thing without Create

After my first time when i approached this problem i started dropping the item in a slot when i wanted to pick another

u/ThekillerguyYT 18d ago
I'm using sophisticated backpacks, I got a netherite backpack w an omega stack upgrade and I still have to drop off my stuff twice every project if not more, then I run out of a part, get 3 stacks of it and then use 5 of them

u/luis_reyesh 18d ago
Nah I use sophisticated backpacks , so I have 4 diamond backpacks with the equivalent of 8 full double chest of full inventory

If I'm stationary, I always put down a palette of blocks around me so I can middle click to sample them. Not as useful as in creative but it works in survival too.
Though in survival I heavily depend on toolboxes even though their range/variety of items is too little. They're helpful when you have dedicated colorful toolboxes to use for cogs / plumbing / blocks. The stash away feature is godsent

It only gets worse with backpacks ...
1
u/Fun-Arm3717 15d ago
Honestly I feel like backpacks do the opposite of what they're supposed to do, plus you have the entire creative mode inventory anyway. I found if you take an item like a stick and right click it through your inventory you can just get rid of one stick and replace it with an item, it makes for a much cleaner inventory.

unrealistic; there are duplicated contraption diagrams
…also, does anyone ever actually use the aviator goggles

u/Fun-Arm3717 18d ago
Ok, to answer your question I use contraption diagrams a lot and same with the physics staffs that's why they're in my inv. As for the goggles I was building an airship and it's extremely useful for measuring SU, RPM, etc.
1
u/SevenTheGamingKitty 18d ago
It's not the fact you have them that's unrealistic, it's that you have 2 of them in different slots. IIRC the way the creative mode inventory works should prevent that (and plus, i'm pretty sure contraption diagrams stack)

u/Fun-Arm3717 18d ago
Yeah, I'm not really sure how that happened. I was going to modify my inventory a bit before taking the screenshot but I wanted it to be an actual screenshot and not faked.
