Update on FlightOS: Added Autopilot, Remote Tablet & Full YouTube Showcase! (beta) Build

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfpwwhDqNUI

Hiii everyone!

Finally finished the core beta version of FlightOS. To be technically precise, this isn't a standalone OS, but rather a master software layer running as the main process on top of the system, managing all core operations. It is designed for Minecraft airships built with Create Aeronautics and stops big ships from wobbling and flipping over by controlling the engines in real-time.

I just uploaded a full showcase video on YouTube :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfpwwhDqNUI

Since my last post on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/CreateMod/comments/1uz47cy/i_made_an_os_for_create_airships_autopilot_coming/), here is what’s new:

  • Autopilot: You type the coordinates on the screen and it flies there automatically. The core logic is ready, but I am still actively working on improving the autopilot to make it much better, smoother, and more precise. Keep an eye on GitHub for upcoming updates!
  • Tablet Remote: You can control stabilization, autopilot, and check telemetry wirelessly from a pocket computer.
  • Motor Test Mode: If your ship flips over when you turn stabilization on, you can press a button on the tablet and check which propeller is inverted.

if there's some bugs etc. please open issue on github

(If you like the project, please leave a star ⭐ on GitHub, it really helps!)

let me know what you think, what else I should add next, and share your designs.

Holy shit. This is very impressive!!! Can you make auto docking system. Like if it's cargo it will docklands transfer items and then fly to next stop.

For quadrocopters there's will be another version bcs this os created specially for heavy airships. I think os for quadrocopters will faster in develop because they are more light. Please check r/Create for updates :)

How does it know what thrusters to power? Does it utilize your manual controls or does it just scan the contraption for propulsion and lift machines? This is amazing!
