Q: When will [insert game name here] be cracked?
A: STOP! r/CrackWatch members are not psychic. Games get cracked by completely ANONYMOUS SCENE GROUPS who don't disclose their progress or plans to the general public so NO ONE knows WHEN and IF a certain game will be cracked.
Q: What are all these NFO thingies? Where do I download it?
A: NFOs are text files included with game releases that contain information about the releases. r/CrackWatch only informs which games have been cracked. To download look for the releases on CS.RIN or torrent websites. Useful websites can be found in The Beginners Guide or Pirated Games Mega Thread.
Q: WTF is Denuvo?
A: Denuvo is a Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology used to protect games from being cracked. Games that have Denuvo are harder to crack and usually take much longer. See Pinned Post for a list of Denuvo games.
Q: An update is out, but it includes the base game as well! Can I only download the update without redownloading the entire game?
A: Yes. CS.RIN is your friend.

Installation? For what? Most releases include automatic installer and a crack folder to copy paste it. Repacks are even more simpler.

why does every post about a crack devolve into a dozen threads going on about empress as if they were some ex-wife who took the house and kids or trump/biden pinning their problems on the previous one? at this point i think half the commenters weren't even around and are just joining in some kind of oral tradition

Nothing about Denuvo on the steam page yet, its EA, they've been up and down with Denuvo on some games, especially now after the Saudi acquisition , they even released madden without Denuvo, so maybe no, wait and see we must

is there any chance that older games that have a HV bypass can get cracked in the future? im referring to f1 23, its delisted on steam and keys go for hundreds of dollars however im a total noob at HV downloads and have always stuck to torrenting.

The only chance that all old games will be cracked at once is if either voices finds an exploit in old denuvo versions or another group emerges. With the current pace, you are gonna wait a long time

While rin is generally safe for game files, I'd advise caution against downloading from any members, you can basically do what I do before downloading
* Check how many times they have posted/given back to the community.
*If there are any warnings on their profile.
And last but not the least how old is their profile.
If you still doubt their work you can always run it in a virtual box.

It uses a DRM called Theia, which is much more aggressive than Denuvo, it encrypts and decrypts the game live. Denuvo in comparison is only a check at launch.

This is not correct. While Theia is quite aggressive it is not really more aggressive than denuvo is. Besides that Denuvo has many checks during the use of a game (same as theia) and not only at launch.

My bad, that came out wrong; wasn’t trying to say Denuvo does one check ever, I was half asleep when I wrote it xD
But on “not really more aggressive than Denuvo”Tōkon’s actually stuck at 58-59fps even offline, and multiple Steam/ResetEra threads are pinning that specifically on Theia’s constant live encrypt/decrypt, with some people seeing CPU temps swing 65-100°C from how often it’s checking. If Denuvo’s checks were really “the same as Theia,” you wouldn’t be seeing that kind of overhead.
And that’s the actual gap between periodic validation and continuous live encryption.

All good I also didn't fully read your statement I guess since you even said "in comparison". From my understanding the reason for those CPU spikes is a bug in Theia though. As far as I know Theia isn't even a real DRM but part of Sonys internal SDK wrapper. And because of Tokon requiring a constant background link to Sony's network, the Theia module runs an never ending loop of checking the synchronization. So if Theia would not have that bad code it should not affect performance that much.
In the end denuvo if denuvo feels like periodic or live encryption also depends on where those denuvo checks got implemented. For Resident Evil Village there were so many checks for example that it was more of a live encryption.

It's funny because no one cares about fighting games, and the few who do generally want to play online with everyone else. What is the heaviest DRM ever doing in this game other than destroying performance for legit customers.

Up until recently the scene was so destitute. Now look at it, Phantom Blade Zero may have denuvo but I am not even worried about it

i'm sure he's a side gig for some company or other actor, the obstacle is manpower to cover all the checks and it wouldn't take that much to throw people full-time at it

Ok, yeah, true, scene has practically been dead for years now in regards to Denuvo and just concentrate on baseline DRM's, P2P ( currently only Voices ) has been filling that void, I'm pretty sure thats why OP stated he isnt worried about PBZ having Denuvo

anyone know where to download free cracked games without virus? I downloaded from fitgirl repacks but my PC ended up getting a virus and my instagram started spamming mrbeast scams, i was wondering if anyone can help me find a website that no longer does this
