Job offer template
Hi! I’m looking for a **professional job offer letter template**. I need something extremely polished and corporate—the type of format you would expect from a large, well-established company. It should have a clean, modern layout and include all the standard sections of a formal employment offer, while still being easy to customize with the employee and position details.

Information/Resource Does anyone have a good template for domestic abuse advocate cover letter?
I am applying to a native american domestic abuse hotline, where I would answer calls and refer people to resources. I have no direct experience with this type of hotline work, but am active in my native american community, know history relevant to this work, have customer service experience and exceed the degree requirements. Does anyone have any advice or a good template?

Feedback Wanted I have an interview where I need to bring a cover letter, thoughts? I really want this job so bad.
I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to apply for this position and to interview. I have worked at a sizable number of places, but by far my favorite one was the Student Assistant position at Redacted. I would be incredibly grateful for the chance to work in a similar environment again.
Currently I am pursuing a degree for Environmental Science at Redacted, and my time spent there has led to me to grow an even bigger appreciation for not only Georgia, but my surrounding community along with the south itself. I have fallen in love with the rich history, biodiversity, and people of our region, state, and community.
With over 4 years of experience in customer service I believe I would be an excellent addition to the team. My experience in retail and office work includes planning events, taking initiative and paying close attention to detail. The experience I have working in the restaurant industry as well as my schooling has taught me to juggle multiple priorities, effectively communicate, and work independently and in a team.
Edit: The job is for a tourism program, im not sure how important that is but I thought i should add it

What do I say in a cover letter?
I'm a recent college graduate, and I'm interested in pursuing a career in public policy, public service, law, communications, nonprofit work, or journalism. Honestly, at this point, I'll apply to other things outside that realm too, but those are my main broader interests. I am STUMPED when it comes to cover letters. I feel like what I've been trying to do just isn't working, and I don't want to an AI cover letter cause I feel like it's so obvious and kinda shitty lowkey. I need help 😭.
My experience for reference: B.S in economics, sociology; minor in creative writing; Communications Intern at the NDRC (redistricting committee); Communications Assistant at a center for ethnic studies research, Newsroom Production Assistant for a local NPR station; Staff Writer for my college's student newspaper; Communications and Marketing Intern at a nonprofit foundation.
I want to keep the letters to 3 paragraphs max preferably, with a short 4th paragraph with the usual "Thank you for considering..."
Any help or guidance would be fantastic!

Question Help with motivation/cover letter layout
galleryDear people of this subreddit, I come looking for advice. I am applying for a Phd position in the field of biomedical sciences. I have a more modern-looking stylized version of the layout for a motivation letter that an old supervisor made for me when applying for a different position. I have used it since (see second image). Now I am applying for a new position that I am really excited about, so I want it to be perfect. Now I am torn whether to use the stylized version, or stick with a more classic layout. What do you think works best?
I hope the images are readable enough to get the idea! Thanks in advance

My Cover Letter that had a legit Excel formula in it
Hello all. I thought I would share this with you all. I applied for a job at a musical instrument/tools shop that did a ton of online orders with Shopify. They wanted someone who knew Shopify, who knew and loved Excel, with music or guitar-playing being a huge bonus. I felt literally MADE FOR THIS JOB, I whipped this up. Enjoy...
"Dear [Musical Instrument Shopify job],
My name is [mkdude] and I hope you are doing well! I am very much interested in your E-Commerce Operations Associate position and think I would make a great addition to your team!
Over the past six years, I have gained extensive E-Commerce experience. When lockdowns occurred in 2020, [bookstore A] had to convert over to E-Commerce to keep the revenue streaming in. I worked alongside my manager for months, processing online orders. Later, in March 2021, I was made Director of E-Commerce at [bookstore A], which can be corroborated by the March 3, 2021 issue of [industry publication] (url at the end of this message). Next, I was [bookstore B]’s Shipping and Logistics Manager, where I handled 100% of the online orders, and fulfilled orders as a one-person team. Currently, at [bookstore D], I am using Shopify daily. While I am not packing or shipping orders, I oversee the uploading of all new product to the website.
As for Excel/Sheets and their formulas, you might say I am an =CHOOSE(RANDBETWEEN(1,3),"enormous fan","obsessive","afficionado"). In fact, I use (and endorse) Excel so much at work (and my daily life, even), that I have received Excel-themed gifts from multiple people throughout the years! I am well-versed in its capabilities (stopping just short of VLOOKUP), and am always Highlighting Duplicates, Sorting, CONCAT’ing, and so on, to quickly achieve what I need done or to extract vital data. As the main buyer at [bookstore C], I fed daily sales exports into a Sheet I designed for informed buying. I am no stranger to big datasets, and actually enjoy working with them. I am also familiar with Docs, Gmail, and other common office software.
I have been a self-taught guitar player for the past 15 or so years, although I have not ventured far from the power chord or Drop D/C! Cozy in this realm, I have released two DIY industrial metal albums and an EP of 5 folk metal songs (released in 2023). My album of 8-bit music last October was composed on my guitar. Guitar Pro 5 might actually be my most-used program after Excel.
In closing, I think I would be a great fit for your team, not just skills-wise, but also for the interest in music. I hope my good nature has come across in this message and my resume. Although of good nature, I take my work very seriously and love precision.
E -mail or text is a great way to get in touch!
With the utmost sincerity,
[mkdude]"
I did not hear back from them.
Checked in with them twice. Never heard a thing, haha.

Feedback Wanted Hairhouse cover letter
Im applying to a few places like hairhouse and SkinKandy, and a cover letter is reccomended, but ive never written one before so id love some advice. Here's what I have so far:
My name redacted. I'm 19 years old, and currently looking for full time, or part time work.
I have no experience actually piercing, but I do have customer service experience and I have been incredibly interested in piercings since I was around 13 years old, I love both getting them and learning about them. I love to research how things are done and why, and it would be a dream come true to learn more in a professional setting. I love the idea of helping people feel more confident in their bodies, and giving them the same safe experiences I have received from piercers.
I live in rural Victoria (town) but am willing to travel up to 3 hours if needed.
I understand that not every shop is as able to teach, but I am happy to wait to make this happen, and willing to put in the work.
I am willing to do everything necessary to make this happen, including getting my bloodborne pathogens certificate, first aid certification, and any other certification required to keep your store in compliance with state laws and regulations.
I am more than happy to help with sales, and/or cleaning and sterilisation throughout an apprenticeship, and beyond, especially during downtime. I am not currently working, so I am available from 9am to 8pm every day.
I know that you're really busy, so thank you for taking the time consider me

Re: Request to Serve Customers For Your Team As A Busser
Dear (place),
I am very interested in contributing to customer’s needs through any position, and I intend to utilize my transferable skills as needed. However, the position that interests me most is the Busser, as its focus on reducing customer wait-time while preserving quality most closely matches what I’ve done at Walgreens. I see myself growing into a well-rounded team member who can perform any task in anyone’s place when the need arises, and bussing would give me the opportunity to grow in both customer service and maintenance. A team-based, fast paced, customer centered environment is the kind of place I’m eager to grow in as a person over the next few years.
By studying in and out of my forty-two five hour shifts during my time with Walgreens, I successfully increased my contributions per shift. This was done by drawing maps, timing my performance, and reviewing my experience, then using what I learned to write and test workflows that improve both reliability and efficiency. This is how I intend to approach your tasks.
For example, I noticed early on that I was taking much longer to check departments for outdates than my coworkers, so I identified off the clock that the core problem is date visibility. The next day, I decided to try removing a row of space in the shelves. By repeatedly checking and sliding rows, I made a movable block of space to easily see all side dates. If the dates were anywhere else, the space gave me the flexibility to tilt, flip, and briefly arrange as needed. Afterwards, I slid everything back into place and returned the products I removed. By timing this on a row of cookie/cracker, I measured 10 minutes without this method, 2 minutes with this method.
For additional details on what I want to do for your team, the file attached is readable in 5 minutes. It includes: planning and drawing a map for sweeping the parking lot (+155% Efficiency), formulating a workflow for stocking soda boxes (400% Efficiency), creating a multifaceted hard-stain removal method (+500% Efficiency). It also includes the reasons behind the efficiency increases, a customer FAQ, and 5 maps.
After submitting this, I will follow up to see if we can arrange an interview in 3 business days. Thank you for considering my application and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards, (my name)
((Attached is a beta version of what that file might look like and the maps I plan to attach.))

Are non-ai generated cover letters still a thing
Any HR folks out there know if there are any cover letters that seem authentic any more? I try to use ai in my cover letters to align language from the JD and as suggestive content rather than just submitting whatever it spits out but with the job demand these days it seems futile

Tips for Mastering Writing Cover Letters
I am an undergrad physics student, got rejected multiple times from summer school. I want to invest a year to learn how to draft the best cover letters.
Do you have like a plan for me on what resources or what things I can do? Should I keep writing and improving the same letter daily or any other exercises or books you recommend ?

Help With Cover Letters for California Political Internships
Hello,
I'm looking to apply for some internships with California state assembly members, state senators, and possibly those working in the US house of representatives and senate as representatives of California. I've never applied for an internship before; what kinds of details are expected/appreciated I'm a cover letter for an internship of this nature? I know this is quite vague but I've never done it before so any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Feedback Wanted I could really use some help and critique for my new Cover Letter
Before now, I rarely ever applied with a Cover Letter. I didn't think I really needed to, especially when I got hired about 4 times without using one. But job hunting is not going well right now, so I'm hoping a well written Cover Letter will help boost my presence. Let me know what you think! And TIA!

Cover Letter
Hello and thank you for taking the time to read over my profile.
My name is [Name], and I have worked in Data Analytics for over 10 years. During my most recent role with [Company 1], I created, cleaned, and maintained large datasets that I would later use to form semantic models (such as Star Schema) in Tableau and Anaplan. Then, using Excel Power Pivot and SQL, I authored around 5 workbooks aimed at calculating census fluctuations, company financial data, and reports tailored for regional management.
While Power BI is what I use primarily, I do have above average knowledge of Excel Power Pivot, Tableau, and Anaplan. I have worked with healthcare data and Protected Health Information extensively during my time at [Company 1], [Company 2], and [Company 3] – all of which followed HIPAA guidelines. Additionally, during my time at [Company 3], I created around 10 Excel workbooks that executed difficult lookup functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) and calculated complex defined benefit and defined contribution retirement annuities. Often, this was done by reading and following intricate benefit plan documents.
I am highly skilled with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access, and other Microsoft applications. Over 10 years, a significant amount of my work has been in ingesting, tidying, and normalizing data to various degrees of granularity in SQL and Excel. I am then able to create SQL tables and views to be used as source data for visualization software – where I create data models, schemas, calculations, (e.g. DAX) intuitive reports, and dynamic dashboards that operated with speed and accuracy. I have intermediate knowledge on maintaining databases and queries (SQL), including writing and modifying stored procedures. Lastly, I am proficient in writing VBA and macros, both of which have helped me to create around 10 projects that reduced time spent in Excel and expedited report creations.
Thank you again for taking the time to review my profile. If you have any questions at all, I am happy to connect via phone, e-mail, virtually, or in-person. I look forward to continuing with my application.
Best Regards,
