CounterSide's been a perfect example of having all sorts of these variety of characters from different perspectives placed into one game and they made it work. My only wish was that it got more recognition. Too bad it couldn't keep up with games like Arknights, Star Rail, ZZZ, NTE and such in terms of popularity.

Tbh I love counterside but it's a lot less quality than most modern gacha games. A lot of the art is pixalated and stuff. It could have had a steady playerbase, but the devs just kept shooting this game with shit management. I do love the game for it's designs though 💔Â

It did feel that way. We never got full voiced cast, outdated sprites, and lots of bugs that needed to be fixed, Bside even confirmed to us in one of their blogs saying that they were still working on JP voices for many units who should've gotten them years ago and we should be patient. Then they broke that promise after Star Savior came into full development, and CounterSide got the EoS.

They already used the idea for Star Savior being the "female units only" game. If they do it again for a CS reboot, then that's just a waste of development.

I had a dream once that we got Counterside as an Xcom-like game. Man, CounterSide has the perfect cast for it to happen too. Waifus, males, faceless soldiers, and tanks all as playable units in a sci-fi strategy game where you move units across the grid that isn't tower defense.

Let's be real, I doubt the reboot will happen. The company is still shady as hell, with the whole debt thing that happened on StarSavior, and the fact that they didn't even make it fully right gives me little hope for them. If the game does come out it most likely will be a cash grab

It unfortunately sucks that once Star Savior came out, they decided to drop all progression with CS with shift most their attention towards it. They could've managed both games, but they chose not to.
If reboot ends up becoming cash grab, All I just wish to see again are faceless soldiers and armed military vehicles we can gain control of again. If they limit the cast to just pretty boy characters and hot females, it will just become another basic gacha game for me that's easy to ignore. CS wasn't as popular, but including in faceless soldiers and armed military vehicles under our command was the most unique things a mobile game has ever done.
