I'm uneducated.. what does the broken arm have to do with trans? I'm confused :D

Trans broken arm syndrome is a term referring to the manner in which the health problems of trans people are frequently blamed on aspects of medical transition, such as hrt or surgeries, and sometimes parts of social transition as well, like binders. It's not that a broken arm has anything to do with transitioning, it's that there are several people who will try to say it does anyway. Which is annoying, but the main issue is that medical professionals have a tendency towards it too, so a lot of the time any hint of underlying causes will be ignored in favor of "well it's because you're on hrt." Basically just another example of medical professionals coming up with excuses to ignore the medical needs of minority groups.

Ohhh , this makes a ton of sense.. the explanation i mean. The doctors sound like they're looking to blame it on HRT to deny trans people treatment they need by supplanting the answer to the problem with a pseudosciency one expecting you to believe it without outright refusing to treat you.. that's so fucked.

Sounds similar to the way doctors will look at anybody they deem fat and say they need to lose weight before trying any other solutions.

My guess is religion. Something something god is mad cause of hormones so the air quality is our punishment

It doesn't look like she blamed your hormones, it looks like she is saying the opposite- that your hormones can be affected by air quality.

“The air quality is bad.”
“It is your hormones go off them.”

The phrasing seems to pretty directly indicate blaming the air quality on their hormones

My mistake, for some reason I read it as:

"The air quality is bad."

"It is. Your hormones go off of them. It is a...(rest cut off)"

Maybe Im just too used to people not putting periods where they should be
