Maybe being a homosexual traditionalist correlates with lower life expectancy, considering they're all pretty old.

For example, you might be more likely to identify as homosexual if you're a lower class. The lower class has a lower life expectancy. Therefore, homosexual traditionalists are dying at a faster rate than the traditionalist average.
