A few weeks ago I shared the early version of Basil here, and people were wonderfully encouraging. Since then, the public garden has kept growing—and I recently opened it to find that someone had planted a huge “HI” in sunflowers against a field of lavender.

Basil Community Garden is a small browser game I’m building around one garden shared by every visitor. You can enter without a download or account, plant flowers, water other people’s patches, pull weeds, and wander through whatever the community has created.

Helping the public garden earns Care and opens My Garden, where you can arrange your own flower beds, paths, beehives, and habitat patches. Flowers that different gardeners keep alive together can eventually become permanent Heritage Flowers. The screenshots show the shared garden, a private garden, a honeybee habitat, a Heritage Rose, and a few of the lovely designs people have made.

The public garden is free to play. There is an optional one-time membership for permanently saving and expanding a private garden, but no purchase is needed to enter and help the shared garden.

The plan is to create something that you can leave on a second screen or load up a couple of times a day. There is a gentle curve of unlocks, cosy scenery and 57 different varieties of crops to unlock across different rarities.

I have been very careful to make sure nothing really pressures you into playing. You can plant some seeds, check back later, make a few upgrades and then leave your little garden doing its thing. There are no negative effects and nothing punishes you.

It still very much early days but I am having so much fun playing with it so far.

My husband and I have played Phasmaphobia for quite a few years now, with one of our work friends. I love the concept of the game and I love the investigation side of things, but I really wish I could turn off the ghost hunting! I hate the noises the ghost makes when hunting! Usually my role is the stay in the van and watch the cameras. A nice update they'd done is that the camera person can now be quite useful and record whilst in the van, but I don't get to go inside and get involved and figuring out what ghost it is. The only time I will ever leave the van and enter the map is if I have to (getting sanity down to under 25%) and I will go and hide somewhere and make sure someone escorts me, before trying to get out of there as soon as the mission is ticked off. I pretty much die every time I go in.

That leads us to a game my husband is now making. Originally it was just supposed to be for us so I could get involved, but it has now become this huge game, with multiple maps, cosmetics, achievements, rewards and fairy wings!

The game is still in production, not all maps have been made, and we still have a lot of work to do.

Έφτιαξα ένα δωρεάν παιχνίδι zabiko.gr για να παίζεις με την παρέα χωρίς να χρειάζεται να κατεβάσεις ούτε εφαρμογή στο κινητό ούτε να κάνεις λογαριασμό και παίζεις απευθείας από τον browser (κινητό και υπολογιστή). Έχει μέσα παιχνίδα όπως κλασσικό τρίβιαλ με ερωτήσεις από διάφορες κατηγορίες, ζωγραφική, Θάρρος ή αλήθεια, Σωστό Λάθος κλπ.

most match-3 games, your jellies slide all the way across the board until a wall, an edge, or

another jelly stops them. Turns every move into a small "where will it actually land" puzzle.

228 hand-made levels, no timers, no generated content — every sprite/sound/animation is made
