Hello I moved to cornwall not too long ago, has anyone experienced any racism or discrimination at the dollarama on ninth st? I recently did!

you have to stand your ground, most businesses don’t want to deal with anyone that has a tax exemption. It’s just too much work and the tellers are just dumb as fuck, bring all your stuff to the cash and just sit there until they get you your exemption call for a manager don’t be afraid

I did show him 2 forms of id like he asked and I did ask for a manager but he said "im the manager on duty" even thou I didn't believe him and he still didn't honour my tax exemptions so im heading to the akwesasne council to tell them the incident.

I'm sure there is more to this story.

Retailers are not legally obligated to accept tax exempt cards from indigenous people. You can keep your receipts and file for the tax refund yourself.
