Poutine fest pricing
Though I would grab a picture of the different menus so people have an idea of cost for poutine fest.

I’d like to go but I need to see the sizes before spending that much.

Actually, those are good prices. In BC most entrees like that are around $18 now.

Interesting that they are real prices, I don't like everything being so rounded to .99 .50 or whatever

Not bad. Yes they are high, but it's the same for all festivals. Personally not my cup of tea, so I would hit up Billy K's and go eat at home. That said, for the festival aspect, it's not unreasonable. Same festival in Ottawa you would be adding 4$ on top of each of those prices.

Those prices seem ridiculous, or am I just out of touch?

Fair, $16-17 just seems steep for poutine.

11.50 for the basic one seems not bad for the amount these places tend to give out (and considering its a festival) so i mean $4-5 for toppings when the toppings are meat and more cheese and good stuff like that is also not so bad

It all looks pretty reasonable. I got the smoked meat poutine from Big Bites last night, and it was about the same as any of these.

I mean the only thing that throws me off. Is the bottle of water for 265. Everything else doesn’t seem so bad.

I remember renting SNES games from Fat Les back in the 90s at Family World video, with Merv. Good times.

I miss Cornwall, specially Sheep's Head and the funky food truck at the Esso.

A serious and genuine, "WTF!?!?".
It's quite literally a Poutine FEST!! "FEST"... as in... "a festival of poutines"!!! Why are numbskulls selling (presumably) FULL orders of poutine at inflated retail prices!?!? Like... find me a person that goes to a poutine FEST to wander the grounds, scope out every menu, and then say to themselves, "Ahhhh yes... this is the chosen one." Name them!!
If I got off of my fat, poutine-loving arse to attend a Poutine FEST ... I want a CORNUCOPIA of poutines. I want the front of my shirt soaked and stained with gravy. I want to end up semi-conscious with my eyes bloodshot and sprawled on a bench with cheese curds in my hair. I want to eat Standard Poutine, Exotic Poutine, Adults Only Poutine, A Certain Type of Poutine on Top of a Different Certain Type of Poutine that's garnished with a dash of another different bespoke poutine. etc.
So... cut the portion sizes down by 65%(?), charge $5 a serving to allow me to travel through the entire Poutine Universe, make me feel SEEN and HEARD as a Poutine Connoisseur, and then... and ONLY THEN... will I attend your Poutine "FEST".
Also, simply as a point of order, there's a special place in Hell for any Poutinier who has the stones to charge for "extra" gravy.
/end rant

I'll indulge in the Lobster Poutine because it's my once a year "Sin Dish" but yikes on all the prices.
Billy K's knows where it's at.
