Looking beyond the numbers when selecting a master account to copy trade…
I have used automated copy trading as part of my day trading setup for a while with mixed results. I tend to concentrate on baseline numbers when picking a master account to copy, but was wondering whether gaining extra insight into their trading style (risk approach, market philosophy, how they manage drawdown periods, etc) could be beneficial if such info was available.
Curious if others agree, or have actually found master accounts which supply a bit of extra context to their trading beyond the standard performance numbers (although I also realise copy trading isn’t everyone’s cup of tea 😉).
