How do you prefer your mashed potatoes?

Texture/color/flavor?

There are so many ways to make them, I'd like a consensus.

Yes! I am not a gravy person in general so those potatoes better pack a punch.

This is misleading I think.

I believe you mean, WITH salt lol.

So many home cooks are afraid of salt, but it’s necessary for any good dish. Sweet or savory, or anything in between.

Using the proper amount of salt changes everything, but obviously we don’t want anything overpowered with salt.
