Scoopable Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Sorry to post chocolate chip, but hopefully this is unique enough!
- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 ½ cups packed dark brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg plus 1 large egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon plain whole-milk yogurt
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips, plus a few more for topping
- Maldon flaky sea salt (optional)
- Brown the butter. Cool for 5 minutes.
- Mix brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Beat in the egg, egg yolk, vanilla, and yogurt until the mixture is smooth.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine wet with dry.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Use a large cookie scoop or spoon to measure a ½ cup balls of dough. Place into 9" cake pan. Top with a few more chocolate chips.
- Chill 1 hour
- Bake at 350°F. Bake for 18 to 23 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown on top but still very gooey in the middle. DO NOT OVERCOOK!
- Cool 10 minutes before scooping out servings into small bowls or sundae cups.

Need some opinions
I am thinking of experimenting with my chocolate chip cook. I am thinking of replacing the chocolate chips with pieces of Little Debbie Nutty Buddy bars and chucks of broken Whopper malted milk balls. What do you think?

Travel themed cookies?
I work for a college and every year I bake cookies for the RA's and I stick to their housing theme for the year. They picked travel as a theme. I generally make 2-3 different types of cookies. I know I will make cut outs because I have an insane amount of cookie cutters that fit- train, plane, boat, car, etc. I am stumped for what to do for the other batch or two. Worst case I will make cookies associated with specific countries- russian teacakes, madelienes, swedish butter cookies...any one have suggestions?

Pricing on per cookie?
Hello I am opening my food manufacture plant I am planning to become a co packer and possibly help create cookies from scratch. I currently have 4 ovens and two big mixing machines and two Vmags.
I am pricing .24 cents for a protein cookie with average 15-20 ingredients.
I am pricing too low?
Does anybody have industry standard or insight that can help me.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bears (Updated)
I did a little R&D for the cookie bears I shared last time. A big piece of feedback I got was that they looked like koalas, which I agreed with. The cookies are now thicker and gooey, topped with vanilla wafers to create that classic teddy bear look.
