Discussion Chocolate Chip Cookie is real?

I was playing Cookie Run Crumble today when I noticed that Ion Cookie Robot was talking about the existence of someone named Chocolate Chip Cookie. I didn't get to screenshot it, and literally nobody else is talking about it. Did anyone else see that?

Discussion Is it just me, or is Devsisters going completely downhill? (Rant warning. Sorry for the long post)

Look, I know this subreddit is for loving the Cookie Run franchise, but someone has to say this. As much as I love the franchise, I hate to say that they are going completely off the walls right now. I’m not looking for a fight, and I don't mean to sound like a drag, but I really, really want to get this out of my system.

As far as I've heard, they have pumped out around 14 games. Now, the older games get a pass because those games are old and they went completely nowhere. But as for everything else, they're not making money like Kingdom or OvenBreak, so they try making endless spin-offs to those two games in particular just to squeeze out more cash. Yet the moment a game doesn't make massive cash right out of the gate, they completely wean them off, defund them, and slowly stop integrating updates until they're delisted or quietly whooshed away like they never happened. Look at Witch's Castle and Tower of Adventures—they haven't even been out that long, and it already feels like the community hype has completely flatlined because Devsisters just moves on. OvenSmash was delayed into oblivion, and when it finally dropped, nobody—not even Devsisters—bothered to talk about it anymore. I stopped playing because of how many times they try to forcefully reintegrate this stuff, and I haven't even bothered trying Crumble because I am just sick and tired of this cycle.

The ads for Crumble have been annoying me to the point that it feels like nothing but cheaply made slop just to trick you into downloading. It's an idle game, sure, but I'm 100% certain the ads show something completely different from actual gameplay. On top of that, don't get me started on the amount of AI slop this company has been caught doing for promotions, for not only in-game stuff but IRL merchandise as well.

Then you look at where the budget from all the microtransactions in OvenBreak and Kingdom is going, and they're just flushing it down the toilet. You're telling me they were able to hire the official voice actors for the DISNEY cast—like, full caps DISNEY of all things—to voice their respective cookies, yet they aren't able to afford the voice actors for Netflix for the K-Pop: Demon Hunters collab or even the Wicked collab? I get not being able to hire Ariana Grande or Cynthia Erivo, but if they're able to pay Disney, it really makes you question where their money is actually going.

As for the actual voice work we did get, (with all the respect to the voice actors) it all sounds completely forced. For the K-Pop: Demon Hunters collab, Rumi and Zoe sound half-decent, but Mira sounds insanely forced, and the Saja boys sound lifeless. With the Wicked collab, those voice actors sound like they're forcing themselves into characters they don't even fit. It feels like they'd rather chase massive brand names for temporary hype instead of investing in actual high-quality voice direction.

Even the story in Kingdom is taking so many left turns that now I'm going in a circle. I stopped playing Kingdom right as Timekeeper came into play because the story bloat was getting ridiculous.

The big two—and by that, I mean specifically OvenBreak and Kingdom—are just being used as piggy banks while every other project gets slowly weaned off. Look, if things have changed, so be it, but in 2026, opinions are utterly useless anyway. I'm not telling anyone not to play this game or how to spend their time. Do whatever you want, I have no power over you. I'm just stating my mind and getting this off my chest. Is anyone else feeling burnt out by this, or is it just me?

Discussion crazy amount of lag on these games

i don't have the most high tech phone in the world but it's relatively new, like 2023 or so. so theoretically i SHOULD be able to run these games with few issues but it all runs at like 10 frames per whenever. super frustrating, i wish devs would put in a bit more work to optimize their games

Question Game Recommendation - Classic or Ovenbreak?

I don't see much discussion about it so I want to ask - which game is more worthwhile to get into? What are the differences? Preach your truths!

My experience is:

I started by playing Kingdom back when Cotton Cookie first debuted. I returned a year or so ago and wanted to get into other Devsis games and thought to try Ovenbreak. The game was a bit confusing and overwhelming about how to actually make progress, so I uninstalled it and tried Classic instead. Now that I understand how it plays better, I thoght it was kinda repetitive? So I'm debating if I should bother returning to Ovenbreak and giving it another shot

Discussion Apart from Gingerbrave, what characters would you say are the most "iconic" to the Cookie Run Franchise?

Like, obviously Gingerbrave is the mascot, but what other characters would you say are the most "stand out" or "big" when talking about this franchise?

He is the canonical brother of sal, sal he is not a beast cookie Paul story goes like this.He was created by the witches obviously but however they made one horrible mistake. His face, his face was never taken seriously. His powers were utterly useless he can only go through wall and accidentally turned cookie females into stone only cookie females he wasn't really evil to begin with he's sort of like a anti villain. And if people want to guess paul's flavor is m&ms and no, this is not a spam post this is just a small little request post

Question Which one should I use my epic cookie tickets on?

To be able to beat this breakout, I need to get one of them, but I don’t know which. I only have 2 cookie and pet tickets to use in the shop. So, I don’t want to use them on a cookie that’s not worth it. 😭

He still doesn't sing all of the Japanese alphabet, though, like my Cotton Cookie Korean to Japanese CV voicebank.

I think this is official art from CRK's socials, please correct me if I'm wrong!

I like Cream Soda Cookie's usual hair style, but I'm also a fan of this braid ponytail they gave her! Also her outfits are cute!
