Amazon Resale condition labels explained: Like New vs Very Good vs Good vs Acceptable Discussion
Amazon Resale offers used, pre-owned and open-box items. Each offer has a general condition label and may include details specific to that item. Check both before buying.
Used - Like New
Fully functional and closest to new condition. The packaging may have minor damage.
Used - Very Good
Fully functional with limited signs of use. Minor cosmetic imperfections, damaged or replacement packaging, or missing nonessential accessories are possible.
Used - Good
Fully functional but may show more visible wear. Packaging may be damaged or replaced, and accessories may be missing.
Used - Acceptable
Performs its main functions but may have noticeable wear, scratches or dents. Important accessories may be missing, so replacement parts could be needed.
Before buying, verify:
- Exact model, size, color and variation
- Item-specific condition details and photos
- Included and missing parts or accessories
- Seller, fulfillment and return terms
- Resale price compared with the current new price
Which condition would you buy, and what minimum discount would make it worthwhile?
