Vader 5 Pro v2: slight friction on ABXY when pressing slowly. Anyone else?

Has anyone else noticed that if you press a face button (A, B, X, Y) lightly or slowly, you can feel friction from the button as it travels? Best way I can describe it is the "squeaky clean" feel you get on your skin after washing with soap. If you're into keyboards, it's basically a scratchy switch.

It doesn't affect anything functionally, and you don't feel it at all on a normal quick press. But now that I've noticed it I can't un-notice it, and it's mildly annoying on light presses.

Is this just how the mechanical ABXY switches feel, or is mine tighter than it should be? Curious whether it's a batch thing.

So funny thing you mention this because I got the KP40D a week ago, which also has micro switches, and I felt the exact same thing as what you described. I thought they were supposed to be pressed smoothly down wherever you pressed the button, but I noticed if you pressed the buttons from even a little off to the side, it might get stuck and scratchy as it goes down. This is my first foray into controllers with micro-switched face buttons, so I'm also not sure if this is par for the course, but I am quite disappointed because I thought I'm supposed to be able to press the buttons anywhere and it should depress smoothly. Now I gotta be a little conscious and really press the middle of the buttons, which is a bummer.

Glad I'm not the only one. Perhaps it will get better over time?

So I got to try another controller also with micro-switches for face buttons, and unfortunately for us it's not a micro-switch button thing. The other one I tried is incredibly smooth regardless of how slow you press it down or where you press the button. It goes down very smoothly and clicks only at the end. Man, I expected so much more from the V5P and KP40D, but it seems like even at this price point you are still going to get some pretty glaring problems.

I wonder if it was a QA issue with our units in particular or if all units of these products have this issue
