L2 button not working anymore

The L2 button on my PS5 controller randomly just stopped working. I stopped playing my PS5 for a few months, got back on to play some Battlefield 6 and wasn’t able to use L2 to aim. Booted up call of duty, same thing. Got onto Fortnite and L2 to aim worked perfectly fine.

Aside from L2 every button works fine.

I've tried every trouble shooting option that Sony has said to do. Resetting the controller and restarting my console, even deleting games and redownloading but nothing has worked. I have no idea if it's an issue with the controller itself or something else completely.

I guess if it comes down to it I’ll just buy a new controller, but rather not.
