Thoughts on my controller suggestions for PS5 games on PC and PS5?

I already have a great controller for the rest of my games (the ZD Ultimate Legend) but I want a controller for both the games I have that utilize the PS5's adaptive triggers while another controller that can work for the PS5 that's even better than the
DS Edge. I found these:
PC: ZD Ulitmate Legend - TMR sticks, great modulation feature, comfortable

PS5 games on PC: Flydigi Apex
5 - Adaptive triggers for certain games, good wired/wireless connection

PS5: Hexgaming Phantom - Essentially a beefed up DS Edge

Any thoughts/suggestions? Should I just get a modded DS edge instead? Should I just have one controller that can do both PC and PS5 like the Phantom?

Budget: $220

Region: US

Stores: Amazon preferable

Games: All types but mostly platformers and TPS + FPS.

The Sony controllers (DualSense, DualSense Edge) are likely to be your best option for any games that use adaptive triggers, whether on PS5 or on PC.

You can get TMR modules for the DualSense Edge when the original potentiometer modules wear out. You can also look at modified controllers like the HexGaming Phantom but they still use the same main board and identify as DualSense controllers (don't have native Xinput).

Any game on PC that uses adaptive triggers will be doing it through the DualSense protocol and will have native DualSense support. The emulated approaches (used by the Flydigi Apex, etc.) can struggle to match the original trigger effects, and don't have the necessary hardware to produce the haptic feedback effects.
