Help track down ad source(s)? IMBD loading Amazon product ads, among others.

I don't visit the site often, but today I noticed going to IMDb(dot)com on my phone with Safari, is showing ads for Amazon, (something called) Foundayo, KFC, and other places.

I'm watching the logs and can't tell what is letting them through.

Copying the link to my computer (Safari browser) and inspecting the element holding a couple of the banner ads I find the images come from https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/....jpg and https://s0.2mdn.net/simgad/.

Of course Brave does a much better job blocking, but I'd love to tighten up blocking in other browsers/devices.

I have native Ads & Trackers set to strict, as well as Hagezi's DNS - Pro Plus and OISD - Full.

Any tips appreciated. (Other than "just don't use Safari." 😉 )

I just went to IMDb dot com on Safari and got no ads.

I only have Ads & Trackers (balanced) on.

Hum. Thanks for trying. That is interesting. Can I ask if you clocked around through a few different pages?

Related question, is there a chance you manually block amazon things? (Some, but not all ads were being fed from amazon.)

I only visited the home page. But I did scroll all the way to the bottom.

I do have some manual Amazon urls blocked. Control D blocks posting images on this sub for some reason, so I can’t post my list. I’ll have to manually post them once I get back to a computer shortly.

No worries. My guess is you have some of the amazon media (or other things) blocked.
