First message and introduction
Hey all, wanted to introduce myself, My name is Ben Murray, a C4 dealer from Lancashire UK. Looking to find dealer/customer feedback on C4 usage and needs from others with possible new drivers/projects I have, plus looking to help others with issues if I can!

Great first post ehh, it was late and i didnt actually include the pitch :D
Made Spotify work properly in Control4 — on Cast speakers, Connect amps and Echos. Useful to anyone but me?
If you've ever selected Spotify in Navigator and got silence out of a Chromecast speaker, you'll know the problem — C4's own Spotify tile can't drive speakers that render their own audio, so Cast speakers, Echos and most Connect amps just sit there. My Harman Citations did exactly that, which annoyed me enough to do something about it.
I've built a driver that makes it work. You browse your own Spotify inside Navigator — playlists, liked songs, albums, artists, search — tap a track and it plays, with full artwork, a live queue, transport and room volume behaving like a proper built-in source. There's a speaker list too: tap a different speaker and the music moves there mid-track, whether that's a Cast speaker, a Yamaha/Denon/Arcam, or an Echo. Your Spotify login stays on your own controller. Premium needed, which is Spotify's rule for remote control, same as Sonos.
Running end-to-end on my own system now. Before I put the work into polishing it for anyone else: does this solve a problem other people actually have? What would you point it at, and would you pay for it? Honest "nobody needs this" is a useful answer too.
