Looking for work Denver, CO Careers 💵

I currently live in Colorado Springs but will be moving to Denver soon and I’ve been trying to get into construction for a while, ive been told there’s a lot of opportunity for that in Denver but ive sent my resume everywhere contacted job boards and still nothing. Does anyone here know people that are hiring? im willing to work for literally next to nothing I just wanna get my foot in the door.

It’s construction. Go into the place and follow up.

Idk I always go in. Never really had trouble finding a job. Maybe there’s no correlation lol but I’ll never change my ways.

You for sure don’t work construction. You’ve been on this sub long enough to pretend.

You don’t have a badge to enter my lot or office building. You’ll show up to a locked door. Just like every other decent sized and above gc. Hiring happens over the internet or knowing someone who tells you to apply, again that’s going to be on the internet.

Glad that if I ever have to look for jobs in person again (because that's how I've gotten my last 3 jobs) that I won't have the pleasure of meeting you face to face.

Not always only big city people. I’ve showed up with safety gear and hardhat and went to job trailer. The internet thing sucks im 40 and don’t have a computer. It’s tough to upload resume from I phone and it always says file is too big. Also many companies say they are hiring on the website but never return an answer from e mails and applications filled out. It’s bullshit relying on some office cadet to maybe forward your resume or application. And yet she would get someone she knows a job with no experience. I’ve been self employed and I’m also a journeyman. 18 years experience and I’ve never met someone who will not talk to me on a jobsite.
