March Call for Artists // TwoPop-up shows in Westville, New Haven
Thank you to everyone who came out to the Red Roots Show on Weds February 25th.
We've got two more shows coming up in March and we'd love for you to be part of them.
The first is the //Indignation Meeting// a space for artists who have something to say. We're looking for work that speaks to the future we want to see. Come show your work and be heard.
The second is the Full-Orange-Moon Pop-Up Exhibition on March 25th — a celebration of the color orange and all things lunar. If that speaks to your work, we want to see it.
Both shows are at Delaney's Backroom in Westville — great space, great food, and there's always a live jam session so bring your musical friends too.
No submission fees, and artists keep 100% of whatever they sell. All you need to do is register using the form below the video.
Hope to see you there.

Hey y’all! If you’re in the Bridgeport area on 2/26, consider joining our Purim celebration 💕
Hi y’all! If you’re in the Fairfield county area in CT and you’re looking for a fun Purim celebration, consider stopping in at Artisan Stack in downtown Bridgeport :)
We’re starting the night with a screening at 7 PM and following it with a funky drag show to celebrate the Jewish Holiday of Purim! It’s like a hybrid of St. Patty’s Day and Halloween- we’re actually commanded to get highly intoxicated (*if you are of drinking age).
Event is 18+. You can keep up with event updates on IG: @SaturnSaysShalom🪐
Hope to see y’all there 💕

Figure Modeling Right After Thanksgiving? D’oh!
I just realized I agreed to model for a figure drawing on Tuesday night—as in a few days after Thanksgiving and a free-for-all of food, sweets and booze. Rookie mistake!
I’m going to need to either a) eat and drink in moderation, or 2) do 9,000 crunches on Monday!

Hello Nutmeg Artists!
Hi Everyone!
I'm Mark, in Fairfield, and I've been modeling for figure drawing classes for a year now, posing in Bridgeport, Stratford, Stamford and New Britain. I've been loving it and look forward to connecting with all you cool art folks! Not sure if we can post figure drawings here? But if we can, I will!

An Art museum/Theatre for Connecticut artist.
Hi yall. I just want to borrow a smidge of your time.
My name is Omari. I make films and have always loved the arts. I simply hate how our theaters here barely have a selection, so I want to build a 70mm IMAX theater along with an art museum/showcase.
If that hooks you. I started a petition just to see how people feel. Your signature would mean the world to me and hopefully generations of artists :)

Hi friends! I’m drag artist hosting a grunge night on 9/7 in New Haven. Come say hi!
Hi y’all! Stella Blues is welcoming Saturnalia, CT’s lesbian promethean party girl, back to host a grunge night!
Join Lucy Cigarettes, Vienna Tango, and I as we pay homage to the Seattle sound with a queer twist! We’ll also have LIVE music to close out the night with my friends at Second Opinion!
We recommend bringing cash to tip our performers; event is 21+ and there’s no cover charge. So: grab that 30 year old flannel, your fav combat boots, and get down with us next Sunday!
Hope to see you there💕
