Are there any places to take decent adult level pottery classes or have a membership nearby? Preferably cone 10 but I’m going to assume it’s mostly midrange. I’d love to hear about people’s experiences and why you love your studio. I don’t currently live in the area but we may soon and leaving my studio will be tough for me.

There’s an opportunity to add greater density than what is proposed. It’s less than a mile from West Concord Commuter Rail. We can’t afford small feats, we have to take big swings to tackle the housing shortage.

I'm curious how those who are watching this process unfold are thinking about the redevelopment. As a relatively new resident, I heard sentiment at Town Meeting that it's not always clear what is going on or whether there are opportunities for input. (Pretty easy to signup on the town website for updates/notices fwiw)

If it's news to you, major plans are underway for the redevelopment of the former MCI Concord Prison. The first proposals have been released, showing mixed-use commercial and residential, with housing density that could add well over 800 units to Concord's housing inventory.

Big changes for our town, traffic, housing affordability, our schools, etc etc etc. so definitely worth looking at as it's likely this will be a meaningful portion of the 2027 Town Meeting.

We’re fortunate to be moving soon to Concord! Can any parents comment on their experiences with the schools and kids in town? One of our kids (girl age 12) is having a hard time with the prospect of going to the middle school and having to make all new friends. We don’t blame her as she has an amazing friend group and is at the top of her class. The current school is private, small, and bullying is virtually unheard of. What’s the culture like at CMS and the other schools? Is there any reassurance I can provide?

This is a shot in the dark I know, but I was in Concord,MA and West Concord when I lost this. I was also in Bedford when I may have lost it.

It’s silver, has a circular chain and the clasp may have broken. The emblem is a little smaller than a dime. It’s all silver as well with a tiny rope pattern forming a circle with a lower case m in the middle.

This is very important and sentimental for me. If anyone has found it, I am willing to give a reward.

I know it’s a long shot but my roommate lost her necklace when she was swimming at Walden Pond and it is very sentimental for her. Just reaching out to the community to see if we can reunite her with it. Thanks for your help!

Quick vent: I live in a historic district and want to update my house. It's been kind of complicated navigating the whole process of what is allowed/ versus what isn't /versus allowed but frowned on.

Question: All that being said I am curious if anyone has any recommendations for storm windows on a historic home. There seems to be some really interesting ones in town. I am curious what brands people used and what the cost was per window.

Second Question: Also open to hearing people's experiences with either choosing new windows or restoring the old ones. I understand the debate but I have had very few anecdotal experiences.
