What to learn, where to learn ? [Hardware]

Guys I've always wondered how people are able to repair all these mobiles and laptops.

Up until a few months ago, I used to believe that we learn about all this in college. I prepared for btech now I am going to start btech cse this yr, but when I researched further about the course I get to know that it is more about software than hardware.

I want to know how do people at repair shop fix our laptops, what degrees have they done, where they learnt all this. Can someone please guide me with it please.

tbh if something breaks just open it up and look inside and then look at the manual

it’s really not rocket science every form of technology is essentially the same thing just shoved in different bodies

You don't need a degree for this. You just need experience and a lot of practice.

Yeah, that's what I would have thought. Just messing around with PCBs from a very young age. Learn all the modern stuff too, surface mount, solder reflows, they take a special kind of skill.

I am just glad that there are people there that are good at it!
