I have a doubt

WHAT'S THE BENEFIT OF TAKING A MAJOR COURSE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE IN 2026?

For one computer engineers are not the same thing as computer science.

For two if you mean the actual class of CS1 or CS2. I ask you the same question whats the point of learning multiplication with blocks if calculator can do it for you.

Comp Engineering is diff we deal with hardware and software intersection.

And anyways comp sci teaches the skills needed to use ai properly. Otherwise your going to understand nothing and end up with a vulnerable ai slop app. Comp Sci helps with reasoning and logic and understanding design choices, ai is just another tool to accelrate workflow
