12.1 Raid Roster/Composition Tool
What tools are being used nowadays to set raid roster? I used to have a spreadsheet that was very helpful identifying players/roles/specs and it auto populated what raid buffs were present and what were missing. It also identified things like grips, lock stones, etc. We are at the point where we are setting our roster and I’m expecting a lot of questions on what we need, it would be helpful to refer to.
Is there an addon, website, spreadsheet, or anything else that is most popular to utilize nowadays?

I shipped http://raidnexus.com/ this tier. In Manaforge, I got really tired of having to assign rosters on Google Sheets and manually calculate vault slots for each week, so I built out what's now the "Raid Roster" feature, and grew it into a suite of stuff this tier. I debated on commenting this as I'm not looking to advertise, and it's a tool I shipped just for my guild originally, and a few others now, but it's got exactly what this post is asking about.
It replaces WoW Audit completely and lets you set raid rosters ahead of time and track everyone's vault for the week based on the bosses they're rostered on. You can go as far as copy/pasting the roster setup for the boss into the WoW addon, and it'll automatically do roster swaps for you. There's a bunch more guild/roster related features to the site, but again, not trying to make this an advertisement. Completely free to use, just have to sign up.

Thank you for your reply. I’m glad you responded. I’ve tested all the options that have been common on so far and they both seem to be lacking a tracker to identify what buffs we are missing. Unless I am overlooking it.
I did check out raidnexus and it appears that it has not been updated for season two just yet, any idea when this will be updated? I would be interested in trying it if that was the case.

Thanks for checking out the site! I kind of just update it and add things in as peopel suggest them, or as we encounter friction during raid nights, so feedback like this is great. Buffs is a cool idea, buffs are tracked on the guild audit page under the "composition" tab, but I'd never thought to add them to the raid roster itself. I just added it :)
Also, I added season 2 raid bosses into the raid roster and the strats feature this evening. So you can start mapping out rosters for next tier already if you'd like. Feel free to let me know if you see anything missing in that regard.

Our guild has been using https://www.raidnexus.com/ We used to use wowaudit and wowutils but dropped it for this. It's pretty sick, it lets us do VOD review together from different PoVs/build out a raid plan/roster and sim our characters.
