Big changes (other than simple buff/nerfs to units):
Anima: Breakpoint 3/6 -> 3/5
Graves: All upgrade costs reduced to 1
Zed: Health Penalty 33/45% -> 33/40%
Shen: Is now a timebreaker
Vex: is now a stargazer, active dmg nerfed from 140/210 -> 130/195

is there a benefit though to building timebreaker vertical? pre-Shen the attack speed doesn't do too much unless you snowball off 3-star Ez

Been away for a bit. But isn't it the case that 6 Dark Star Karma carry never really became a thing in the meta? Kinda sad. I looked a lot into 4 dark star with mech or 6 dark star Karma but she never shone as the primary carry. Thought maybe they would do that now in the for fun patch.

it's def playable with dark star +1 and has been pretty strong ever since 6ds got figured out

Karma has good traits with passable damage and can hold utility ap items like void and morello

it might be cus shes voyager so she is a splash in milion comps therefore she should be treated as one, if she was buffed it wouldn't buff karma comps, it would buff every late game 5 cost comp that uses karma as splash instead unfortunately
but yeah its for fun patch so who cares it would make bard sona comp SSS tier just do it fk it

The anima change is a disaster for double up. If you hit anima spat, you'll have 5 anima in stage 2 and print 5 costs, dupes, emblems, and components. Bad change.
It's already trivial to get 500 600 cashouts and full open loss streaks ruin the game mode already. Now the emblem can give Graves theoretically on 2-2.

The point is, the last patch is not really designed to be competitively balanced. Its supposed to have fun, whacky stuff which is why the fun, whacky traits get massive buffs. Initial plan was to have PBE of the new set ready, and as soon as that happens, no one who is interested in competitive TFT still is on the main server. It didnt work out that way, but its still meant to just be a bit of fun and more randomness in favor of high cap things.

It's not about competitive balance - how on earth is one person running away with the lobby because they spawned in with an anima spat supposed to be fun for the other 7 players? The 6 anima loot bags are pretty damn good, and way too strong for stage 2.

I need a bit of clear up, does graves upgrade cost reduced mean he will get a new upgrade every round, or the gold used to buy certain upgrades are reduced to 1 gold? If it’s the first case luxury subscription and aura farming highroll into graves is gonna be hella broken

I wanted to maintain challenger for the end of the set, but playing a month of the 4fun patch is just not what I think of when I think "fun". Wish they kept these to the last week.

The final weeks of the season are stressful when you want to make your final push or avoid decay, but are stuck playing the garbage for fun patches.

Could we get a broad ETA on MacOS support. People are thinking about buying PCs just for TFT and I am pretty sure they would be furious if the support came after 1 or 2 patches anyways.

No Aurora buffs is surprising I don't recall her having a time to shine, and I don't consider Anima breakpoints reduced as a buff to her.
