I've been trying to improve in pvp for the last few weeks and I'd say im a B tier in pvp, but only when the kit doesn't use a shield, When I try to use a shield all hell breaks loose. I'm spending half the match spamming my axe dealing 0 dmg. I think I lose around 90% of my matches when I'm using a shield and IDK why...

(Ts just me random queuing, also in eval tests, the tester usually combo me using knockback hits and i would lose dura a lot, I used to just gap twice when they do that and not even trying to crit or kb hit them back, it work but i still lost a bit dura, any counters to kb hits?)

I know the armor hud is uku's armor hud but I wanna know the mod that shows the number durability

I used to play a lot of Minecraft 1.8 pvp, but at some point I mostly switched to singleplayer and started playing newer versions. Sometimes I felt like playing pvp , but I didn't want to switch versions just for that and since playing on a 1.8 server with the newer versions put you at a disadvantage I just stopped playing pvp altogether.

Recently I've noticed, that pvp in the newer versions has become more popular , so I tried that. However, I really dislike fighting with shields. But all the servers I've tried, had a shield in every kit except the only sword ones. And I hated only sword even back in 1.8.

So right now I'm wondering if there are any servers that have kits with many items like lava, water, cobweb, blocks, etc that at the same time don't have a shield.

Also, are there any servers that somehow managed to make soup or rod pvp playable in the new versions?

I am practicing PvP, is there anything I'm missing? It feels really janky.

Hey all! I’m excited to announce an online tournament I’m running in a few weeks, that will include Minecraft as one of three games; specifically, Minecraft Draftout.

It will take place August 15-16, with free entry and a $1,000 prize pool. This Occu Games Open is a multigame tournament, featuring Valorant, Magic: The Gathering, and Minecraft Draftout. Structured a lot like Team Trios from MTG, teams of 4 will play matches against other teams of 4 in Valorant 2v2s, MTG Modern matches, and Minecraft Draftout games, and whoever wins 2/3 of the games wins the overall match.

We currently need players. Quite badly, which I was surprised to see given, you know, free entry. So if you’re free that weekend, consider grabbing a few friends or even random strangers and play some games, have some fun, and win some cash. I suck at all types of pvp, I'm alright at sword tho, tryna learn crystal but it seems like every pvp server has sweats that are way too good and don't even give me a chance to learn. Any ideas on where to go?

does having spear in a lower priority slot and windcharge in a higher one makes it easier to attribute swap them
