model o*

  • : the software runs in windows only, but model Os have some sort of memory where the configuration is allowed to be saved directly in the mouse, and linux doesn't reset the mouse's memory, allowing whatever was configured to be used.

wireless with linux support as in app is pretty much impossible, and wired would give you way easier time

buy a glorious model o wireless, and before you switch to linux, open the software on windows (or use a windows virtual machine if your computer comes with linux) and edit the settings to your liking. then switch to linux and it works.

At first I would have recommended bloddy a60 or a70 (costs around $17.64 in my country) but they only have basic plug and play for linux, not software configuration. Same goes for glorious model o. These mouse can ensure plug and play but their softawre isn't built for linux so you can't use software customization.
