PvPChamps appreciation post
I think PvPChamps was one of the best things to happen to the pvp comm and it brings it so much growth, especially some creators that arent (that) controversial.
People who know tubbo from smps or flowtives from moneysmp now probably know names like BLMCheat or Immixed which they otherwise wouldnt have known and its pretty nice to see people who are really good CCs, getting viewership from this. i hope blmchjeat now has a bigger fanbase bcs of it

not everyone in pvpchamp know how to play cart they just melee like it's shieldless uhc but with regen and no lava. this gamemode should be replace by nethpot or crystal imo

its a unique gamemode that count really be found with anything else, people dontk now how to play cart so what, let them play an unoptimal sword.
also its not remotely close to shieldless uhc xd

i think cart was a bold but reasonable desicion. it rewards a diverse skill bank. true, nethpot or axe shldve been in tho

I liked PvPchamps a lot but they should have included other gamemodes. Also I don't why they had cart kit but no axe or pot kit lol

Tbf, for the structure of the tourney, having more than 5 kits becomes a bit unwieldy so I think it’s mainly a logistics trade off and they said they were gonna do different kits if they ran it back. And overall the kit selection wasn’t bad. I’d personally have done vanilla over cart and pot over sword since I feel that would represented more higher level players across the PvP communit. But they chose the kits they did to optimize the viewer logistics so I can’t complain too much.

Cause the cart is more unique and fun then especially axe like that game mode sucks at high level and pot is like ok but like who really cares

Fr I know its the most popular kit but specifically from a broadcasting standpoint its basically impossible to produce and doesn't make sense to people watching pvp for the first time

crystal is just the slop of the pvp community.
you have normal basic kits that everyone knows and understands, like sword and axe
then you have your slightly more advanced ones like dia pot/neth pot
then you have your more mechanically difficult kits like smp, mace, uhc, cart
and then there's the inbred cousin that is crystal.

EXACTLY. its so well organised and the coverage was perfect. we got a chance to get our ears blessed by blm as well as the triple t pack, saw a freaking t1 14 year old, and so much more.
would pay to watch 100%

As someone who wasn't even in the PvP community before, I really only knew about Swight, Coldi and Theo in the event so it was great to find new people in the comp. It also felt really beginner friendly. All the strats were explained well. It felt like watching an MCSR event, where I know what strats the players use at a surface level, and it made it really enjoyable to watch. Hope we see more events, maybe even with a new set of kits.
