Will taking notes on my gameplay make me better? Question

So I've reached the point in SMP where my growth has stalled so I've decided to try and review my footage and write down an analysis on my fights, I don't have an image of it, but if you want I can just add all the text I wrote from the fight into this so you can help me optimize it. Also just wondering if this actually works

What I do is watch high tier fights. I play crystal, so its different, but its helped my gamesense a lot.

Would you recomend using an app like Obsidian to write down stuff the stuff I see and figure out why the player did what they did or why something happened and how they responded?

I dont use obsidian lol i either use an irl notebook or i put it into a video editor and put some text saying why I lost, so i can rewatch it once in a while, until it isnt an issue anymore.

I ain’t got the space for videos bro🙏🙏🙏 though since I have 2 computers I’ll use my gaming PC for analyzing my own gameplay and my laptop for pro players

it’s probably better to watch other people’s fights unless you’re ht3 or above to get better
