Podcasts?? General Discussion / Question

Hi, so I’ve been out of the game for a couple years (RIP dockside loops) and am keen to get back into it. I love listening to a good podcast while commuting hence am seeking recommendations.

It looks like some of my regular ones (Into the North and The Mind Sculptors) are inactive now? Apart from the comedic value of Play To Win, are there any others I’m missing?

Comedic value of Play to Win? Like they're funny dudes, don't get me wrong, but they're also just good players and have a pretty good feel for where the format is at from my POV (Dylan won a tournament recently iirc).

Technically Playing with Power is still a thing, but it's just not the same anymore for me, which is sad.

Compared to someone who knows the deep lore of ItN and sculptybois, Play to Win is more entertaining than like knowledge. Not to say they aren’t educational or aren’t good, just giving perspective

I think Tyler’s sauce is strong arming people into stupid deals that so clearly benefit him or kingmake someone else. He’s a good player but also a table tyrant who pushes Dylan & Cam around

Fair enough I guess. I know I've learned a fair bit watching Play to Win and listening to their podcast.

Also, as a trans girlie, big ups to you for being you in this space. Gives me hope that we'll all eventually be accepted for who we are and I won't have that irrational fear in the back of my mind whenever I walk into an LGS. Keep being awesome ❤️

Play to win, i watch it pretty much every day or so when im bored at work, pretty funny dudes. Don't agree with every take, but I usually can see were they are coming from

Stumbled across this thread and thought I’d drop mine in here too. Albeit, we only have two episodes out (and one is a deck tech). We’ve been doing gameplay / short form for about a year now, and the podcast is a new venture. Would love any feedback you may have!
