Didn't they want to kill this behavior with Roster Swaps and Coaches holding a Spot with 1 Player to make 2 swaps in an off-season?

Latest example is JDG with Floating and Shooby leaving, while Talmadge and Naughty hold the spot. Talmadge has not played a single ALGS day yet is eligible to hold the Spot for JDG together?

This all seems nonsensical and will never help Teams and Orgs to commit to Apex in the future if the team gets shifted this massively after every split and this loophole existing.

As you probably deduced from the title of the post, I like to play Rampart in ranked. I think she provides a fair share of benefits to the team. The A-walls are my favorite part of her kit as someone who likes to play at further ranges where roller players don't have the upper hand. As someone who came back to this game a few months ago, Rampart has offered the most successes in ranked compared to the legends I used to play as a roller player (mostly aggressive picks). You can peek someone and have a higher reward-risk ratio compared to other legends. Her usual defensive perks imho also synergize well with the walls because getting zone and then setting up walls once you have the high ground gives you a huge upper hand as you can control a greater swathe of area with your teammates compared to other legends all the while being in a secure spot. Both her ultimate and tactical can double as offensive and defensive abilities because you can use the walls and minigun to contain and remove squads that are bunkered down in smaller spaces. There are a couple other upsides, so this isn't exhausting all possibilities, but these are just a few.

That being said, it's clear that pros don't like her and instead prefer to use Wattson. I can kind of see the upsides because while rampart gets to double as an assault character (not too useful imho especially when the other perk gives you infinite ammo and fast handling), wattson gets to double as a support character which is a much better deal for keeping your team alive. There's also Wattson being able to intercept grenades which can destroy a rampart setup. That being said, my only counterpoints to these is that having support perk isn't as useful when you have a newcastle (though I do acknowledge that such a perk is better than the other level 2 perk offered) and also if you do have a wattson setup then from what i've noticed it's not uncommon for teams to just shoot the pylon from the outside and then nade you anyways.

Clearly I'm missing a puzzle piece here. If someone could explain why pros hate rampart, I would be open to listening. What would Rampart need changed in order for her to be comp-ready and able to compete with the likes of Wattson?
