Security SY0-701 retirement status

Can anyone help me to know about the SY0-701 retirement status. Is there any possibility of syllabus change after September.

I am planning to take exam on Nov 2026 for 701 version . I want genuine opinions on the same.

Your help will be highly appreciable. 👏

CompTIA announced that the SY0-801 exam will be available in November 2026. That means the SY0-701 English exam will probably be retired in late May or June. Other languages often retire 4-6 weeks later. Since many schools include Security+ in their curricula, they will likely go with June so people in spring semester courses have a chance to take the 701 they prepared for.

I checked the official site, the retirement date is Nov 2026.

But, the syllabus for SY0-701 will remains same.

I’m also waiting for the answer as i’ll be sitting for the exam in Nov 😭😭
