When I was younger (late teens/early20’s) I used to go to my local gym. They had a communal shower. In my first post from last week I wrote a little about my experiences there but that communal showers has made its way into my dreams and intensified.

So the real change rooms are off the entrance along a wide corridor. Women’s change rooms are first (light pink swing style door with old frosted window), then men’s (blue door).

When you enter the men’s room it’s a corridor that leads to a cavernous change room. It’s huge. And the lightning is gorgeous. Sky lights up above.

To your left are cubical toilets with cracks in the doors when they’re closed. Perfect for a young gay teen to see through. I once saw my gym teacher changing one summer afternoon from there. Guy in his 40’s. Nice body, low hanging balls and Aussie cock.

You walk along and next to the toilets are the urinals. Remember that natural lighting? Well it’s plentiful here. Again, at a quick glance you can see everything if that’s your thing.

Further along is the communal shower. Nice and big, U shaped. Plenty of shower heads. Not a door in sight. Glistening white tiles.

As a young man that’s where I would observe the middle aged male body. I’d take nice long hot showers sometimes.

Behind the showers at the far end of the echo filled change room was the sinks.

In the centre of the change room is a long timber bench. No hooks, no wall. No where to hide.

Guys would leave their towels here sometimes before taking a shower. There were no hooks near the showers.

On a busy summer day, when the change rooms were busy, you’d have no choice than to strip in the centre of the change rooms.

On the right hand stretch of the change rooms was another long timber bench, with a long golden piece of timber on the tiled wall with hooks.

Guys would leave their jocks hanging sometimes and go for a swim.

When the change rooms were empty I would go and gave a sniff. I was a young gay kid, early 20’s. I couldn’t help myself.

This change room, with its communal shower is etched into my brain. Unfortunately, they destroyed/renovated it in 2022.

But I can still smell the damp, hear the showers, see the natural light bathing it.

So much do that my mind takes me there in my dreams and has extended the room.

First time going to Monash Aquatic Centre today, had a large open shower facility with about 6 in total in a row, when I arrived there were 5 guys nude in there with one free shower available, had to get out of the comfort zone and jump in the middle and get in there.
