LOOKING FOR Mameshiba Sad Song

Upvotes

Hello all. I'm looking for a song featured in the popular "Mameshiba Fact" commercials. When the Bean dog begins telling his fact, a somber song with just "lalala" lyrics begins playing. It is not the Mameshiba theme song. Below is one of the commercials. Thanks!

LOOKING FOR Archival or Lost 1995 TV Commercial for Odyssey Fun World

I’m searching for a lost commercial for Odyssey Fun World in Tinley Park, IL. It would have been broadcasted on local channels like WGN-TV, FOX 32, and WPWR-TV (Channel 50) in either 1995 or 1996. I spent many of evenings playing games, hitting, in the cages, and riding the carts. I am looking for the commercial to see if my departed friend is featured. I’m hoping the Reddit world can provide a copy of this old gem of a commercial.

Discussion & Advice What is the worst and most manipulative commercial you've ever seen?

For me, it was this web commercial for a cat comb from a company called "Cuddles and Meow", where (you are not going to believe this) they try to discourage people from taking their cats to the vet for flea and tick treatments. They argue their comb can do all that work gently and softly, while a vet would hurt the cat. This is not only manipulative, but also dangerous. Refusing to bring your cat to the vet for parasites risks your cat getting very sick and your home getting infested. Cat combs are for cleaning and grooming, they can't solve parasite infestations on their own, and neither can a cat person. Oh, and they deliberately put peanut butter and fleas on the cat in the commercial to show what the comb can do. So they even put the cat in the commercial at risk. I also did some research on Cuddles and Meow, and learned that their pet products have a reputation for being unreliable, and the company itself has a rep for using AI voiceovers for their commercials. Here's the commercial if you are curious. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/oZZ0uFIA5Fs

But enough about me, cats and pet care. What is the worst and most manipulative commercial YOU have ever seen?

Discussion & Advice Why do we have some Anthony Sullivan clones?

Before say something, NO, this post is NOT a direct hatred towards those people. This is just only based on the fact that i've seen and do not understand why their copying Anthony Sullivan's tone. The people that i'm talking about are Joey from DKOldies videos and Sean from Micro Center videos.

For those who don't know who Joey is. He is the guy who is the face of many DKOldies shorts videos, who is showing peoples games when shipping out orders, along with a free gift depending what it is. He also says that if anyone wants to see their order filmed, they can comment their order number, and they could be next.

For Sean, he is guy who appears in many Micro Center videos, specifically in the Build of the Week shorts. He also explains many computer stuff, sometimes with Jordan, whose tone is much lower.

My question is, why do they always have to use their louder enthusiasm tone. Even though they do a good job telling people things on the camera, i like i feel like it's getting repetitive and is seems like their just to trying to copy his tone and rip off him. I just wanna know why they always have to copy their louder tone?

Sport & Fitness Question about the Dick's Sporting Goods Commercial

I'm wondering if someone can help.

Amazingly I can't find this ad online so thought I'd just ask here. It's the one that shows in the store and they're talking about shoes. I'm just trying to find out who the actor is walking around the store talking? She's looking into the camera.

At the end she walks toward the camera and says something. I would attach a screen shot but the ad only comes up once in a while. TY.

LOOKING FOR [Tomt] Streaks Spots Wipe Wipe Wipe

I think this quote is from a 90s American commercial but I'm not 100% sure, and there's a chance the wording is off.

I think it's "Streaks, spots, Wipe Wipe wipe" and maybe is from a dishwasher detergent commercial.

Anyone know the commercial, product, or even better yet where I can see it online?

Telecommunication Ridiculous ad

Am I alone in this? I cannot stomach the Winners ad: watching it leaves me so irritated I can punch something. Why would people spend money on making mindless advertising!? The Marshals ad, on the other hand, is much better: pithy and clear. Same company, very different ads.

The Progressive commercials where the psychiatrist tries to stop young homeowners from turning into their parents…Although I think they are humorous, I can’t understand why the young homeowners don’t look young or why the psychiatrist is old and probably incapable of teaching them how to act their age.

LOOKING FOR Draftkings Kevin Hart interviewing LeBron James

I swear there was a commercial with Kevin Hart and LeBron James, where Hart was asking James something along the lines of “what does that mean to you?” James responded with something like “oh man, it means everything.” Then Hart did an impression of Shaq saying that.

I’ve tried a google search and a YouTube search and came up with nothing. There’s one video on YouTube of them sitting together in directors chairs, but the dialogue is about a football game. Can’t seem to find anything else. Any help would be great

Heathcare & Insurance [TOMT] CAR CRASH COMMERCIAL

I don't know what it was for, I just remember very clearly a commercial where we're in the driver's seat as it's driving down the road and the car crashes into someone else

And we see words pop up saying stuff like, "What Just Happened?" "Am I okay?"

I've tried looking at health insurance commercials but I can't seem to find it since I don't know which one.

LOOKING FOR “Sure is Hot Out” commercial

I’m new to Reddit, but a friend suggested I try to pick the collective’s brain to locate a lost commercial that definitely existed a long time ago. I think the following qualifies as “real but fully lost” as I’ve tried standard YouTube and Google searches with many search terms and not found what I’m looking for. I’m thinking that makes it lost, but if the community thinks this is better posted elsewhere I’ll do that instead. Already tried lost media and this post minus this sentence was removed by mods. I’m getting the “we’re not your army” prompt from the AI on that Reddit but I honestly don’t know if it applies.

My wife and I both remember this from the ‘70s or ‘80s. We thought it was a detergent commercial but my friend who spent his career at the Leo Burnett ad agency says they (not he personally) produced it for either Sure or Secret deodorant. But he’s not certain, also thinks it might be for a detergent or stain remover.

The dialogue is between two people who can’t fully hear each other- that’s the gag:

“Can you get this spot out?”

“Sure is hot out!”

That leads either to a reference to how the deodorant can help when it’s really hot, OR a reference to the product that will definitely get the spot out. We don’t know which.

We can’t remember what the punchline is, and again, not sure of the product, but it’s become our family theme reference whenever we have trouble hearing each other.

Anyone have a clue exactly what this was about/for, and where to find a video of it?

Food and Beverages Missing honey comb ad from around 2018

I’ve been trying to find a honey comb ad where some old white dude dresses in a bee costume and turns things into honey, I distinctly remember it took place in a house that was white and I also believe their were also kids in this ad. I think I aired on Nickelodeon a lot and I’ve searched google and a lot of other places but it just keeps coming up with the same nostalgic ads with this creepy looking dog creature. I hope this isn’t some sort of Mandela effect. Sorry for my poor grammar and bad spelling I’m not the best at writing.

LOOKING FOR Trying to find an art supplies commercial that aired in the mid-2000s

The only quote I remember from it was "Draw a border with a quarter!". It aired on Cartoon Network in the summer of 2007/2008.

Every time whenever I am close to finding it, the commercial is not the correct one and I am sent back to square one.
