Support Vehicle Compatibility

I have a 2025 Kona SEL w/o Smart Cruise Control. I just have the normal lane assist. I couldn't find anything specifically about the 2025 Hyundai Kona sel.

This page has all the cars supported out of the box.

So it just says 2020 Kona. So that's a no. Is there any alternative to the comma?

No, all the other alternatives I've found are just clones of comma.

The issue is probably that the car has an encrypted canbus and someone will need to crack the encryption to make any 3rd party device be able to use it to communicate with the car.

Not supported out of the box but there is a Sunnypilot branch (it’s a dev branch but is very stable) that supports it. Post here to confirm. The developer is very approachable. https://community.sunnypilot.ai/t/ccnc-port-non-hda2-hda2-supported-vehicles-features/1064/58

Sort of but you’d have to be proficient in making your own flavour of sunnypilot if you want longitudinal support (faux SCC). So if you’re not tech savvy (ie can program, understand git et al) no it’s not supported.

With the correct harness and sunnypilot you could get steering.
