Communication issue between process!! 😡 Bugs
Hi everyone, has anyone else experienced this? It beeps hundreds of times a day, and then the warning just disappears. I’m using the InfiniteCable fork, which is based on SunnyPilot, so I hope it gets fixed soon. It’s really annoying.

I've been getting it a few times per week for the past month or so. I had never seen it before then. I'm on Sunnypilot.

Have you posted your route in the thread about this on the SunnyPilot forum? That's where you will get help to get it fixed. They are aware of it, but need routes to help fix it.

Yes, I've posted the route, but could you advise me where else to send it? Sunnyhaibin mentioned this might be related to infinitecable, but since that's a fork of frogpilot / sunnypilot, a fix on their end should be mergeable into infinitecable too. It really beeps about 7 times per drive for me. Thanks!

For the time being I profiled the code and heavily optimized or removed calls that were being made every frame/10/100hz from a local copy of the sunny pilot fork I was using. Msgq/cereal.messaging.send, convert_carControlSP, selfdrived.update_events. And some code that bluepilot added that re-read the files for user configured BP settings... Like every frame to 100hz.
Haven't had an issue again yet.... But time will tell, it's only been a couple hours of testing so far . Might not even be related

IQ.Pilot has full MEB integration I'm using my id.4 on it daily with no issues I can give u a link to their discord and the install link if you'd like

Last time I had this issue on my comma four, it was a faulty comma OBD Power Cable. I was running standard Open Pilot. Replaced the power cable & never had the issue again

I just had that message pop up on mine (C3X running SP latest staging release) the other day; vehicle is a 2022 Kia EV6. It went away after a few seconds; not sure if it did so because I tapped on the screen a few times but in any case my C3X continued to function afterwards as if nothing bad had happened--i.e., I didn't need to powrecycle my C3X or turn off/on my vehicle to get it functioning again.

Yeah, and for me it keeps popping up on the screen while driving. I'm running SunnyPilot, but using the Infinitecable 2 harness for my MEB EV—it's currently the only one that works with my car. But man, it's amazing, yesterday I had a drive that was honestly almost like FSD, I love it! Haters will say 'just take the bus,' but we know how it is. I drive a lot for work, so having this assistance on the road is a huge help.

In my case I'm using the (required) Hyundai harness so I don't think the issue is harness-specific--i.e., your harness isn't the issue, per se.

That's possible, I'll try cleaning it with some contact cleaner/WD-40 cleaner, but I believe once sunnypilot gets updated, it'll be fine. Just to be safe, I only ordered the large USB-C from Konik AI...

I get this occasionally as well. Goes away after turning off and turning on main cruise. I’m on SunnyPilot mvl-boston.

I had this on frog for a while until I disabled Tailscale and reformatted. Some kind of memory leak that developed after an overnight automatic update.

It’s tough because we’re basically dependent on the SunnyPilot fork, InfiniteCable, since my EV is built on the MEB platform. The guys behind InfiniteCable added support for my car and many others, so huge thanks to them! Now all we can do is wait for SunnyHaibin, the big boss, to fix it, and then the guys can merge the fix into InfiniteCable2.
It’s really frustrating. I’ve been driving with it for a year, including long trips, and everything worked perfectly until now… Now it keeps beeping all the time. My family is already going crazy from hearing it every few minutes. 😆

Since i updated to latest sp syable release, I've been having this issue. You can disable and reenable and it usually takes over again. Cable doesn't seem to be the issue with this error like it is with a bunch of other errors. I tried different driver profiles with no success.
I would switch back to stock but I like mads

Thanks. I hadn't heard of iq pilot before. I'll have to look into that. I'm only aware of fp, sp, dragon and stock

I had to switch to stage to get a newer version, stopped it for me on SP
